Biochar For Your Land
Because we believe in and have seen the power of biochar as a soil health tool, we make it ourselves by the cubic yard. We sell biochar starting at $150/cubic yard (pictured here) plus shipping fees or we deliver for free in the central Missouri area.
Biochar For Your Water
Biochar charged with iron is a potent water filtration media. It can be used in a simple filter to remove algae-causing nutrients (N & P) from your pond or lake. We sell iron-enchanced biochar starting at $2/gal. We also install pond filtration systems in the mid-Missouri area.
Research by the U.S. Forest Service found biochar to be an effective soil amendment. When biochar is added to the soil, the carbon acts as a sponge, soaking up water and nutrients for plant and soil microbes to use. One ton of woody material produces one cubic yard (500 lbs) of high quality biochar and 500 pounds of carbon are kept out of the atmosphere.
